Interior Designer Lead

Make the architecture come to life with interior design, with an emphasis on elevating the feeling of each space in harmony with the clients needs and architectural interest

Design

  • Under the assistance and direction of the Principal Architect or the Project Designer, follow and execute the design intent for look & feel for the interiors for the project.

  • Actively participate in the documentation and detailing of project design in 3D and 2D.

  • Demonstrate creativity and original thinking in solving design challenges.

  • Demonstrate basic Design Communication skills via sketching and hand drawings, diagrams, or other methods.

  • Model the interiors inside the Revit model, following BLAINE standards.

Documentation

  • Effectively communicate designs using BLAINE’s office processes and software

  • Have an intermediate knowledge of Revit and Enscape, and other tools used by BLAINE

  • Produce interior elevations effectively and accurately for each design

  • Schedule and tag the interior elevations for each project following BLAINE Revit standards

  • Use time efficiently and wisely through self-management

  • Set goals, prioritize, and plan assigned tasks

  • Select and compile finish materials, send sample requests to Office Manager

  • Use time efficiently and effectively to finish tasks within budgeted hours

  • Effectively and efficiently use the company file structure and server organizational structure

Communication + Collaboration

  • Listen and communicate effectively and professionally

  • Ask questions about assignments when unclear

  • Remain professional and respectrful in interactions with clients and consultants

  • Approach work with a positive can-do attitude, to motivate others around them to remain postitive

  • Effectively prepare for office and Zoom meetings, and take notes during meetings

  • Effectively follow instructions given from peers

  • Ability to professionally communicate both verbally and in writing to give assignments to office support staff, consultants, and vendors.

  • Actively participate in office design charrettes

The ideal candidates have a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in the field of interior design. Are excited to be a major contributing member of a fun design studio. ​

Requirements:

  • Min bachelor degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Work in person at the San Jose Office.

Marketing Director

Marketing director this role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide social media and marketing services using existing branding package to help reach targeted audience of bigger/better clientele.

  • Manage and maintain the company’s Instagram account - create a calendar of upcoming posts, create posts and reels using voice recordings and imagery.

    • 1 reel per week

    • 1 post per week

    • manage and respond to direct messages and comments

  • Content shall include a mix of posts, reels, and stories. All content shall be discussed/approved with CEO and/or Director of Operations prior to posting.

  • Assist with creating and managing marketing brochures, flyers, signage, and other marketing opportunities, as needed

  • Assist CEO with occasional staging for photoshoots, as needed.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years professional experience

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Remote, in-office or hybrid

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing, advertising, or communications

  • Proficiency with proficiency with Squarespace, adobe and design software
